BOOKING US FOR YOUR EVENT IS EASY

We generally travel about about 50 miles, give or take, from the Wooden Paddle kitchen in Lemont, IL. Is your event a little bit, or a lot a bit, further? Let’s talk! We do make exceptions.

We’ve catered at, or are preferred vendors for, many different venues in the Chicagoland area, including Warehouse 109, Ovation, Row24, The BRIX on the Fox, Firehouse Chicago, Ellis House, Imago, Storybrook Gardens, Noah’s Event Venue, and more.

The earlier, the better! We book on a first come, first served basis. For weekends, we generally book about a year out.

No problem! We have gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

Yes! A team of chefs is included. Servers are charged separately. How many servers you’ll need depends on the the serving style you’d prefer.

The oven is maneuvered by a tow vehicle, and one of our highly skilled, trailer-backer-uppers. (Mmm yes, ’tis their formal title.) So, wherever you’d like us to put the oven must be accessible by vehicle, and have a flat, dry area that’s at least 12′ long, and 8′ wide. We’ll also need another 12′ x 12′ space in front of the oven, for our pop-up kitchen.

We’re able to comfortably serve up to 250 people with the use of just one of our ovens. Far too popular to limit your guest list to only 250? Not a problem. In that case, we’d just bring a second oven.

You bet! First, come try the goods! At your tasting, you’ll get to sample most of what we serve, and get a better idea of what you’d like your menu to be. You’ll select four different signature pizzas, and then you can round out the rest of your menu with appetizers, salads, desserts, and drinks.

You have the option of family-style and cocktail-style! For family-style service, our servers will pass your appetizers, and bring every other dish on your menu table side, allowing your guests to pass it around. For cocktail-style service, our servers will pass everything on your menu as if it’s an appetizer. This style of service works great for mixed seating or limited seating events!

For family-style service, our servers will pass your appetizers, and bring every other dish on your menu table side, allowing your guests to pass it around. For cocktail-style service, our servers will pass everything on your menu as if it’s an appetizer. This style of service works great for mixed seating or limited seating events! And, for buffet-style service, our servers will still pass your appetizers, but display the rest of your menu on a buffet table provided by you or your venue, and replenish it as needed.

Yes! Your event minimum is dependent on the day and time of your event. It is the total for all food and beverages.

All event staff- chefs, servers, bartenders, and event captains- are charged separately. How many chefs, servers, and bartenders you’ll need depends on several factors, including, but not limited to: your final guest count, final menu, your service style, and your venue’s requirements for caterers. An event captain is needed for any wedding, any size event with food and bar, or any event with seventy-five (75) or more guests.

A twenty percent (20%) production fee covers on-site kitchen, bar, and rental set up and breakdown, wood for the oven, serving utensils, disposable dinnerware, basic waste disposal, general liability insurance, and liquor licensing.

All we require is a thirty percent (30%) deposit and a signed contract. We accept payment via credit card, debit card, or check.
